The main research directions:

• Hematopoietic stem cells and multipotent stromal cells: methods of obtaining, culturing, identification, activity determination, study of their role in immune system formation, significance of contact interaction between hematopoietic stem cells and multipotent stromal cells.
• Development of technologies for manufacturing autotransplants of multipotent stromal cells for clinical application, studying the significance of mixed culture interaction system for the development of non-syngeneic cellular technologies.
• Study of thymus endocrine function, immune and interferon status in immunopathology, persistent viral infections, and oncological diseases.
• Development of methods for nonspecific active immunotherapy.
