Contact person
Dr. Oleg Tsupikov, Sc.D.

The Laboratory which is engaged in study of the structural and ultrastructural characteristics of neuron, glial and neural stem/progenitor cells in normal and pathological conditions; cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying plasticity of nervous system growth, development, learning and memory.

In studies conducted in the Laboratory, widely use methods of cell culture, light and electron microscopy, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, quantitative ultrastructural analysis, computer image analysis and morphometry, mathematic modeling.

The Laboratory has light microscope XSP-139A-TP with digital camera Canon Power Shot G-6; confocal scanning microscope Olympus FV1000-BX61WI, transmission electron microscope JEM-100CX and equipment necessary for cell culture and experiments in vivo and in vitro.
